OK so since everyone has watched everything on Netflix, I figured maybe people will go back to reading and would like an introductory lesson in “conspiracy theories”. The phrase “conspiracy theories” was actually manufactured by mainstream media to downplay any whistleblowing or pointing out facts. So even though what I’m going to point out is factual, in black and white, using the phrase “conspiracy theory” keeps it crazy and safe from scrutinization. What I mean is, it’s better to label yourself with the appropriate crazy term to deter attention away from the fact that you’re actually pointing out reality.
So first things first, let’s talk about media. My very first day of college I learned everything I needed to know about why I did not want to pursue the career in radio I had applied there to do. Comm 101. A basic communications course for every first year Communications major at Umass Amherst, a well-known public institution. I point this out so that you don’t think I’m just going to whip out a Charlie Day corkboard with all my strings about the Occult and Illuminati and just throw you down the wormhole. What we’re going to start with is a basic understanding of how media, which consumes 80% of our lives, is such an important tool that, if in the wrong hands, could be used for some very unpleasant things. And unfortunately it already is and has been for years.
I found a well-written history lesson on the Vigilant Citizen’s website** so if you’d like more details you can check it out here: https://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/mind-control-theories-and-techniques-used-by-mass-media/
But basically, in the very early days of current day media (1920’s), famous writers, thinkers and intellectuals are already discussing the idea that the general public is a herd that can’t and shouldn’t think for itself and must be directed. The very first public relations people were using psychology and sociology techniques and ideals to create the groundwork of how to get information to people. They’re not just writing a slogan and hoping you hear it. They’re going to doctors and philosophers who specialize in the human mind and how history and experiments predict they will act. It’s kind of creepy once you get that under your belt. They went right for the jugular when it comes to how they want this to work.
Now that you have that to mull over, here’s another fact: The majority of US Media is owned by 5 (FIVE) total corporations. Meaning that 5 corporations with their own agenda, control what you see and hear everyday on TV, the radio, internet etc. with billions of dollars at their disposal to hire the top psychologists and sociologists as their predecessors have taught them is A-OK to get a point across to you, their livestock, their herd.
Yes, media is a form of relief from the day-to-day stressors we face in everyday life. We need a break from the terrible shit that goes on every day. Who can blame us? Nobody is saying that entertainment is bad. Corporate media wants you to think that conspiracy theorists are these dehumanized assholes who hate fun and enjoyment. But we’re not. We’re just looking to point out that while entertainment and media may be fun, we can’t necessarily trust the fact that 5 (FIVE) corporations, who’s only agenda, long before media existed like we know it, has been to turn a profit, are going to somehow miraculously do something other then whatever it takes to turn a profit. Have you ever tried to warn someone about someone they started casually dating? Maybe you dated them, or knew them and knew that they had some alluring qualities but are actually going to ruin your friend’s mental health when shit hits the fan? It’s kind of like that. You can’t really act surprised that these money-making corporations are going to do something other then what they’re created to do. It’s not really hard to follow.
While media can be entertaining, it can also be distracting. Who knows what is going on while they’re feeding you XYZ
Ie: BLM, being accepting of gay characters on TV, famous celebrities having trans kidsIMPORTANT: Conspiracy Theorists aren’t trying to downplay any important movement looking for change by pointing out how the media manipulates it into a trend and abuses it for their own personal gain. What I mean is that, unfortunately, when a conspiracy theorist takes a look at a certain topic ie Dwayne Wade’s trans daughter Zaya, and point out several things, instead of people actually taking a step back and listening, the media has trained people to swoop in and say “you’re against trans kids!!!!”. No. Conspiracy theorists are against mainstream media using taboo topics to try and divide people by putting confusing and sometimes new and scary ideas on primetime network television, when inclusivity can be done in a much healthier way. They want people to be confused and go at one another’s throats, only to be directed to finding solace in buying toothpaste and fruit juice and whatever else is getting forced into our faces.
Another thing to point out, is that sometimes, these conspiracy websites also have a political agenda, which is again, meant to divide us. Even that **Vigilante website link I posted earlier can sometimes be a bit too much, and it’s important to keep a level head when you take in info. I hate to break it to you but the guys at the top are on both sides of our US political game, and multiple countries. Being rich holds way more power than being in politics. Having money allows you to tell the people in political power what to do. Our country was built on political bribery. We had electric public transportation before John Rockefeller convinced the government and Henry Ford to use fossil fuels for their cars and busses. Watch the documentary “Pump” on Netflix if you want to go down that rabbit hole. It’s one of my favorites. Do you ever buy something at the store and ask yourself why there is so much packaging and junk with the stuff you buy? Well, plastic is made from fossil fuel waste that the oil companies found a way to sell back to companies as packaging and force the FDA to use as a safety precaution so that products aren’t tampered with. It’s kind of gross when you think about it.
I just wanted to use this post to lay the groundwork for people trying to wrap their heads around all the crazy conspiracy theories out there. I may get deeper into some stuff in another post, but once you start realizing that the government doesn’t always have your best interests in mind, and they never really have, it will help you start questioning the things that come up in day to day life.
